combining 29.97 and 23.976?

I've got a project with mostly DVX 24p footage but some stuff also shot on an XL1 29.97. I want to cut this stuff on the same time line in PPRO 1.5. Is this possible? Can you add 29.97 to a 23.976 timeline? or 23.976 to 29.97 timeline?

Since there are issues with premiere pro handling 24p normal footage you cannot combine 24p advanced or normal with 29.97 in either project setting. you can however capture 24p normal footage using a diffrent NLE as 29.97 footage and then import that footage into a 29.97 timline or if its advanced footage than you will need to capture in premiere pro add a 3:2 (normal) pulldown to 29,97 in another NLE either vegas, FInal cut or after effects (or some other NLE that supports 24p normal pulldowns and then import it into premiere 29.97 project. You cant however capture 24p normal footage as 29.97 in premiere pro since it automaticlly removes the pulldown for some strange reason. putting a 29.97 file in a 24p project will give you funky results.
