I want to, for lack of a better term, "Normalize" two channels on one track. Channel 1 is super hot and Channel 2 is low. I need them to even out and meet in the middle. How is this done in CC?

In Premire you use Audio Gain (right click on the clip(s). You can set all selected clips audio to a specific level...for example you can set all max peaks to a given level, say -3db. It's a very handy tool.
