Color

[Daygola814]

I was wondering.. I was looking for a color correcting or levels tool in Vegas where I can increase or decrease the highlights and shadows... like.. make the dark parts of the image darker and the bright parts brighter. What tool would I use for this? I just switched from Premiere to Vegas...
Thanks,
Paul

I use the "Color Curves" filter for adjusting highlights and shadows. It works really well.

i thought the color curves filter had only curves for red, green, blue, and one for all (master). maybe i'm blind... haha

Play around with it. Give your video a nice "s" curve and see what it can do for ya.
