Color Temperature Help

Hey, I work on a PC with 9300k color temp. My boss who reviews my video works on a Mac 6500k. He's always complaining how the color is off. I could knock my monitor down to 6500k, but that wouldn't affect what color temp is rendered out would it? Help.

Personally, I would suggest that 9300K is MUCH too high a colour temperature for normal work. If you neutralise your footage to look normal on your monitor, then it's going to look very warm on other monitors, including TV and computer screens.

Normal daylight is in the 5500K range.

We tend to have our monitors calibrated to around the 6800K range.
