OKAY I AM PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess it serves me right to NOT spend countless hours reading the huge manual. WOW! I am in a shizzzz storm.

Someone chime in and tell me what they would have done. First off the problem...

I edited an entire music video, spent tons of hours doing so, many of the edits were done using MULTICLIP. Then I sent it to COLOR without baking the freaking multiclips first! I know tsk tsk. I colored it then sent it back and POW!!!! Freaking problems!!! I never knew that multiclips had to be baked first!

Anyways I'm coming to the realization that even if I were to bake them all before sending to COLOR it would be a real job in itself anyway. Because I would have to travel down the timeline find every multiclip cut, and render it first, then replace it.:Drogar-Mad(DBG): I would be rendering the same clip over and over, because it reappears down the timeline. THAT SUCKS!!!!

So my question to some of you seasoned editors out there. What would you suggest?

1. Rendering the entire clips first with the color correction before making them into MULTICLIPS? I mean it is a Music video so it would'nt be that much rendering.

-or-

2. Going down the timeline after the edit is complete and baking each freaking clip!?!?!:Drogar-Sick(DBG):

-or-

3. After the edit is complete, render the whole movie with markers. Then sending it back to a fresh timeline, and making cuts where all the markers are? Then sending it to COLOR?!?

I mean this sucks, I cant wait til APPLE fixes this, because I dont know how many more mistakes my bank account can handle...lol.

What you have to do is easy. Highlight the entire sequence, select Modify>Collapse Multiclips. Done. This changes the multiclips to regular clips.

No Efffin WAY!!!! Nice I wish I knew that before I finished the video, lol. Like I said thats what I get for not reading the manual. Thanks!!
