COLOR issues

I am working in a DV sequence in FCP 2 and I have set in and out points to export to color. the sequence is only 2 minutes with less than 50 cuts but when I "send to color" the program starts to open then shuts down immediatly,

any suggestions?

Try trashing your prefs. Have you ever opened Color itself before?

I had the same problem. If you originally started the Project in FCP5 you will need to create an entire new project in 6 then copy your sequence and paste it into the new project. This should work. It did for me! Hope this helps.
