Looking for Suggestions on Matching Eastman Negative with Metrocolor process ...

My director and is dead set on this and I'm trying to crack it ...

Here's a sample:

I'll leave the floor open to suggestions ...

I'll be shooting on a canon 60D for him, with mostly vintage primes (a mixture of Zeiss m42 mounts and pentax M42 to give it a softer feel)

EDIT** forgot to mention I'm editing in FCP with magic bullet but also have Color and after effects CS3

Well, lets see....I see saturated black levels, slightly desaturated reds, and very specific skin tones. Your biggest thing will be using your secondaries to create that warmness with a hint of green in the skin tones. In your primary, saturate the black level and make them black, but don't crush them. Overall saturation his higher. When shooting, be careful of your highlights. If anything blows out and creates false colors, your effect will look like garbage.
