Color difference between camera and computer

I'm sooo frustrated right now. I shot some beautiful footage last night of a sunset and moving clouds. On my camera it looked fantastic. On the camera I use to digitize the footage it looks fantastic. On my monitor in Premiere the color is terrible. I need help. I've reset the settings on my monitor that are actually on the monitor. I've also reset the settings on the monitor in the Control Panel (I'm a PC user). I'm not sure if everything is wrong or if it is just stuff I digitize. I don't really know how to tell.

I need some help. Is my firewire bad?

Actually it might just be the difference between the camera LCD and the monitor. Unless you're using a good external monitor the LCD simply doesn't have enough pixel to accurately represent the color of the footage you're capturing. The difference really is night and day.

Did you have similar problems before or is this the first time? Have you changed some settings on your camera, like Setup Level? Standard Setup Level in pro equipment is 3 IRE. For PAL and in Japan it's 0 IRE. Post some screenshot. We're not sure how bad the problem is. Maybe it's not a problem at all, maybe it's just the difference between your camera and the monitor. Check the Color Temperature setting in your monitor.

You may want to purchase software and equipment to color correct your monitor. Ought to be done every two weeks or so.
