Hello all,
Tonight was my very first try at color correction (Photoshop 7). I took these last night (that's yours truly). Apologies for the lack of focus on myself, it was mighty hard to take a picture, look at the viewfinder, adjust focal length, go stand at the exact spot, do it again, etc. The main reason for these is that I would love to have a DVX100/HVX200/XH A1, but it won't be economically feasible for at least another year or two. So in the meantime I figured I should start playing around with locations and experiment with framing/composition/lighting, all that stuff. I'm completely new at this, but the material on these forums is so inspiring... anyways. Any tips on CC on these pictures? Is there a good tutorial for CC (maybe geared for photographers, since I don't have a camera yet) on the web? Any pointers as to where to look for information would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
~ gabe

Original (bokeh's halfway decent, for a sub-200 lens, IMO):
