color correction.. need some help.

Looking for inspiration. What would you do for this shot ?

Honestly without the detail in the blacks I wouldn't think you could do much more. I'm impressed you brought it up that much. Sorry man.

I removed the first two shots, temporarily. I'll rephrase the question for others:
Would this 'final' version benefit from further color correction?

I worked the CC last night for the 1st time ever in FCP..... Is it just me or does the CC feature seem a bit basic in FCP?
 
Are you using the 3-way CC?
Also note there's a twirl down on the left so you can cc on a specific range (based on saturation, color, brightness)
 
there are many other more capable effects for color correction. a lot are freeware and are excellent.
