Hey all,
I discovered a weirdness with Final Cut Pro 4.5 and wanted to share it in case anyone else runs into it. I noticed that my color correction looked drastically different in preview mode compared to after I rendered it. This only happened on one particular scene I was working on. I realized that the difference was that I had a widescreen filter on as well, as this particular scene was shot accidentally in 4:3.
Changing the order of the filters fixed the issue. I moved the color correction filter to the top (under the Filters tab), with the widescreen filter below it. Now the preview and render look the same. It shouldn't matter, but for some reason it does.
