color correction and zebra

Can the color corrector in Premiere target and just bring up certain colors in the shot? For example, if I just wanted to bring up the reds to make them a little redder, can I do that?

Also, how does the 'zebra' feature on the camera work? I've always ignored it until now but I just realized that when an image is too dark there's very little you can do and when an image is too bright (very hot) there's very little you can do and I think this has to do with the zebra feature (p.s. any website reference on the zebra would help).

Thanks (doing some editing here and trying to learn)

best, C.G.

Zebra only identifies the area of the picture that's blown out for reference. It doesn't affect the captured image.

In Premiere, you can try using the Color Balance or RGB Curve to bring up the red, green or blue level. But this affects the entire image. If you only want to mess with the a single color that's difficult.

Not sure about Premiere, but it's easy in Final Cut with the "limiter" on the "color corrector". There's GOT to be a similer effect in Premiere. Post this in the "premeire" section of the forum (where it should be to begin with), and you'll get answers.
