Color Correcting?

Would anyone be able to help me out with these two color correction problems?

1) I have no clue when it comes to color correction!

2) I have shot a film, however, we started shooting at 4pm and finished at 6pm so the lighting is very much different.

What can I do to make these clips a little more attractive and the lighting a little more "continuous"?

the second shot is way darker and has more grain. So if you try and brighten it to match the first one, you are going to increase the grain by a TON. So I would darken the first a bit and brighten the second some.....that way you meet the two clips in the middle. You will probably have to add some warmth to the second clip and maybe change the gamma a tiny bit. Then make sure the white balances in the end product match.

Im no pro but that is how I would get started.
