Color Correcting one Angle in a Multi-Clip?

Hi

I have a long, 2 cam show I shot. I color corrected the original footage so the 2 angles match pretty closely. Then I burned each angle to a new file so they are exactly the same length, rather than being a collection of shots. Upon editing the multiclip I am noticing that one angle could use a slight color adjustment, however I am 2/3 through the show as far as cutting back & forth goes. Is there a way to apply a filter one angle and have it show up in all the cuts?

I can put a 3-way color correcter on one of the cuts, or on the whole thing, but I don't want to go back and apply the filter to every other cut in a 2 hr show. It seems that if I double click the source file of one of the clips in the browser - it will appear in the viewer. Usually you can apply a filter to that and it would apply to any clip brought out of the viewer. That's not working with multi clips. I can drop a filter in one of the "2 up" clips showing as I edit the multicam, but that only applies to that particular in-out of that one cut. So I'm stumped there.

One question I have is: Can I re-render one of my angles, and have it apply to the multi clip, and all the cuts? It takes 5 hours to render one camera angel, so I don't want to try it and have it not work, or ruin my already made cuts.

Any help would be appreciated.

What I do is a find in the timeline for the name of the clip and select find all. That selects all instances of the clip in the timeline, you can them just drag the color correction to all the clips. I think you might have to collapse multiclips first so you;ll have the original clips the timeline. I hope that makes sense.

Sounds promising. But I don't have the clips (the two full 2 hour clips) in the timeline. They are in a Bin. Then I selected those two clips in the bin, and modified to "Make Multi clip". Then I dragged the multiclip to the timeline and began editing. I did try dropping the filter on the long clip in the bin, but it didn't affect the multiclip. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the Video bgundu, but I am aware of those methods. Though it's good info to get out there for anyone not already in the know.

My problem is selecting the hundreds of cut clips out of a multiclip on one video track. However, I did play around with "Find" and found that if I select one instance of the multiclip on the timeline, then apply "Find" it indeed does separate out all the "Cam1" parts of the multiclip, enabling me to apply the needed filter. So thanks luster! Problem solved!

Cheers!
