Color correcting for film festivals

I was just curious as to what type of monitor is best to color correct to when your film is going to be played at a film festival via miniDV, Digibeta or DVD. We're talking about video projectors here, so do you color correct within the dynamic range of a television or a computer monitor? What's gonna give you the best look on the festival screen?

I've only recently begin to wonder about that.

miniDV, digibeta, and DVD all adhere to the same color space. And when I corrected films for festivals, that's what I use. I check my work on a broadcast monitor. I've had the opportunity to screen my work privately, and see how it looks using different color spaces and luma ranges. We projected both DVD and BluRay for my tests.
