Collinscraft .5x red eye-Does it have distortion?

I was in the market for a century fisheye, but looking at the price, I thought my money would be better spent on a wide angle. I believe I would get more use out of a wide angle than a fisheye, because sometimes you just want that super wide field of view without the distortion, so my question is, does the Collinscraft .5x red eye have any distortion? On some shots distortion looks cool, but not all. How wide in degrees would the field of view on the DVX be with this lense?

Yes, on distortion. When I use it on top of a UV filter, I get some vignetting too.

Overall, I have to say that it is a very good tool to have and I'm glad I bought it.
