CodeWeavers Crossover application

[Denis Haineault]

Sincerely hoping this doesn't get flagged as spam.

If any of you are interested in running Windows application on your Mac or Linux box for free, check it out, otherwise disregard.

CodeWeavers is offering a fully licensed copy of their application for free for today only ( Tuesday Oct. 28 )

To understand why, just read the "Great American Lame Duck Presidential Challenge" paragraph at the bottom of:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CodeWeavers

Their application is here:

www.codeweavers.com

This is probably not useful for video editing, but there might be other (Windows) apps you wish you could run on your Mac and are not interested in bootcamp (or VMWare/Parallels).

For those of you who follow the GNU/Linux world, Codeweavers is also the largest commercial contributor to the Wine project. Good folks there.

Be advised, their site is super slow because of the offer, and it may take a while to get through. Keep trying...
