Hey guys, Ive got a question for all of you HD Guru's out there. I normally composite all my work in AE Cs4 for windows. I have been shooting on a sony Pmw-EX1 and of course the raw is .mp4. My question is: when exporting raw 1920x1080 24p footage... what would be the most desired codec for export to play on Pc. I have read up on settings for web presentations such as Vimeo and youtube which is not a problem I understand all of it as far a web goes. I guess my question is what is the MOST lossless, compatible, and efficent codec for Full res HD that will play across the realm of trash PC's which I encounter when trying to give presentations. I have been using .F4v(H264) which seems to play on most up to date pc's and looks nice, however will not play, or will play glitchy on out of date trash computers that many people own.
