i edit on a newer iMac using the Adobe CS4 collection. i edit all video on premiere and love it. i'm having some trouble viewing and/or editing some video sent to me from a hired crew. when i try importing the files into premiere it says that the codec is missing.
the codecs are HDV 720p24, Integar (Big Endian), Timecode
the video was shot with the JVC hd200
i have the capability to edit with HDV 720p24, but have run into problems with the Big Endian codec before.
i have tried exporting the clips through mpeg streamclip and quicktime pro, but only end up with a white screen with audio, no video.
has anyone had this problem before? is there anyway to obtain the Big Endian codec?
thanks in advance
