Codec Settings

Hi all, trying to encode the H.264 film in Premier Pro 2.0, choosing Quicktime H.264 Maximum Quality, and don't really know which audio codec to pick but so far the smallest file I've been getting is 200mb. Anyone have any ideas on the best settings? Any help greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Export it at full quality (full resolution) from Premiere, then open it with Quicktime Pro and export it again at a lower resolution. It will still look quite good and it will be a hell of a lot smaller.

Try AAC with a lower kbps bitrate for sound.

I know I can easily get mine down to around 60MB, with some tweaking 50MB shouldn't be a problem.

Cheers,

Mike

Bought it two days ago :) For some reason though the H.264 file I export from premier i can't view in QT but I can see it in VLC, but the sound is vica versa :(

Export it as an uncompressed .avi from premiere and then load it in QT Pro and export to h.264

Got it working thanks :( 50mb sure does show though, I have to pick really lowe settings and the quality drasticaly degrates.

480 X 270 :( and the colors got pale all of a sudden. I wish I could show a better resolution, but that's alright hope we're not judged on our output but rather the story and other film aspects would be the focus ;)
