Hi Windows Friends!
I'm editing a bunch of screen captures in FCP, using Snapz Pro to create
ProRes422 Quicktime files (1280x720 @ 24fps).
Some colleagues would like to contribute screen captures made on Windows
machines, and I'm trying to figure out what would be the best exchange format.
Someone over at an Apple forum suggested WMV 9. Is that the best choice?
If they install QT Pro, for example, what codec options are available?
I usually like to edit in DVCPROHD or ProRes422. If I need alpha channels,
I'll use Animation. I try not to use MPEG4 codecs (like WMV 9 or H.264)
for editing, because they are interframe.
I notice that Camtasia doesn't capture to 24fps....
Thanks for any suggestions or pointers!
Les
