After watching the "milkgirls" video from the folks at RED, I did some playing around with using the same codec that they used. I loved the look of it the MJpeg. However, I understand that it may cause audio sync issues, but I haven't tried anything with it.
What I am wondering is if there is a list of available codecs for use in QT or AVI with some pros and cons for each. I've been using h.264 or Sorensen 3 for most stuff I've done with quicktime, and generally using HUFFY or something proprietary in my AVI files because I generally want those lossless.
Love to hear your thoughts on codecs or find some reference to what's out there and in use.
