COD for dvx

I wanna order a dvx today but I wanna do a COD instead of putting the who0le thing on my credit card. Beach camera says they do CODs but you gotta pay 10% on a credit card. I called them up and the guy said they dont do that and hung up like an asshole. Does anyone know any place that accepts CODs?

please dont tell me that they are bad. i just bought it from them...put it all on my card.

EDIT: They have a 9.32 on reseller ratings. That sounds ok to me.
 
My advice--call them up, cancel the order, don't take no for an answer, don't let them scam you into any phony cancellation charges. Call your credit card company and block the charge. Then give Rush at EVS a call and ask for the DVXuser discount. Now run like the wind.
 
They padded the site with phony ratings. They'll tell you they already shipped, but they'll be lying. Tell them the order is cancelled and call your credit card comapny to reverse the charge.
 
Watch for shipping charges too. I wouldn't be surprised to see them charge you $300 or $400 for shipping.

Remember, when you deal with liars, thieves, and cheats, you have to understand that they will lie to you, steal from you, and cheat you. It's what they do.

No, not specifically. That was a generalization. The point being, you can't believe anything a liar, thief, or cheat tells you, because they are inherently lying cheating thieves.

Whether Beach hits that target or not is to be determined, but if it's true that they're padding their resellerratings resume with bogus/fake props, then that would qualify them as one of the worst of the lying cheaters, wouldn't it?

Reseller ratings is pretty much useless. It looks like a lot of websites rate their own store.
 
The key to that site is to not look at the ratings, but read the comments left by people. If they're getting a lot of bad comments, then you should watch out.

they might tell u 3 weeks from now that the camera is on back order and you'll be able to cancel.

what did they tell u, u were gonna get?

how much was it total? did u buy any accesories?

what's their return policy?

I had problems with an authorized dealer

After I made the order they called about 20 minutes later to confirm my address. Then, she said they were gunna ship it that day or monday at the latest cuz of the weekend. The next day i already got a fedex tracking number. On their site it says it comes with the book and all that and if it doesnt Ill drive up there and shoot that place up.

EDIT: OK I wont shoot anybody but i'll call them up and yell
 
When I read the title of this thread, I totally thought it was going to about a codpiece for the DVX.

Don't take the gloom and doom predictions that you read here too seriously, you're getting "assumed" predictions of horror.

They reference "phony" ratings.....

I would have hoped for better from some here...........
