Coachsurfing doco

A friend of mine suggested I make a documentary on the phenomenon of coachsurfing.

I am currently planning a written proposal or treatment.

I wondered if anyone on here has ever coachsurfed before? If so, what's your experience been like? Have you known other people who have done this too? Have their experiences been worthwhile? Just any information you think could be helpful for the documentary.

hello, yeah i'm a couchsurfer myself (it's "couch" actually not "coach" :thumbsup: ), i've been hosted a couple of times in Brittany (France) & I've hosted some couchsurfers here in Belgium, it's DEFENITLY something interesting! It's a way of travelling & meeting people from all around the world that is intellectually, culturally & emotionnally exciting! Most of my friend are travelling this way also & hosting people. Once you've started you don't really want to travel any other way because you see & learn so much more from the places where you go!
There's 1000 ways to make a really beautiful/interesting/artistic documentary about this topic. Maybe the first step would be to sign in & meet couchsurfers near you?
