Closed-back headphones with all-day comfort

[ahalpert]

I'm looking to buy closed-back headphones for my wife to watch movies in the $100-200 price range. I bought her a pair of audio technica ath-m50x headphones, and the sound quality is good but they aren't that comfortable. It's been only a few days with them, so maybe we just need to wait for them to break in. But could anyone recommend a pair of closed-back headphones that are super comfortable and have at least adequate sound quality?

I found the Sony WH1000XM3 to be quite comfortable for extended periods. They're in the $300 range new but you can often find deals for new or used or refurbished for less (I bought mine for about $210).

If you're interested, I'd be open to selling mine, as I almost never use them anymore since going with earbuds that offer noise cancelling.
