Clips strobing after building movie file...HELP!!!

I edit on Premiere Pro 1.5. 24pa timeline. I'm exporting to a movie file so that my entire timeline is just 1 file. Upon review...I noticed a couple of clips that are now strobing during playback. They haven't been modified or any fx/transitions applied to them what so ever. They playback perfectly smooth on the timeline.

Why are they strobing now...and how do I correct?

Please HELP!!!

What kind of clips were they originally and are they different in anyway to the others in the timeline?

what are you exporting as? and what are you using to play back? sounds like your exporting in the wrong format

I've had a couple experiences in the past when I'd accidentally moved the scene file dial and recorded something other than in 24pa. However, in those cases, I could capture the clip into the project but when I'd add it to the timeline it would immediately require rendering...AND would playback choppy in the timeline as well.

To answer your question I have to say these clip were recorded no different than any others on the timeline....straight 24pa. I've checked the properties of the clip and compared to others in the timeline and can't find any difference.

What I'm doing in a sense is building reels. I'm editing a feature, so every 15-20 min or so of edit I'm building into 1 avi file, then dumping all the raw footage to portable hd to free up system resources. Then later I'll assemble the reels to build what will ultimately become the final film....which will also become 1 file.

From my project timeline...I'm going right to EXPORT...then selecting MOVIE...which makes the entire sequence a single file.

I played back to preview on windows media player just to look at the edit and check the sound. I wondered if that was the problem, so I placed this new movie file on the timeline as well and the same clips were still strobbing during playback there as well. The source clip, however, plays back perfect from the timeline. This problem is somehow happening when exporting from the timeline to a movie file. If the entire file played back poorly I'd imagine it was an export setting of some kind....but the fact that it's only these few clips has me frustrated and at a loss.
