Clips out of sync after reconnecting media

I have a timeline with 3 cameras (2 hvx's and 1 gh1) of a wedding that my editor cut based on photojpeg versions I rendered out of compressor.

When he emailed me the project file and I relinked the original pro res media, both hvx clips were slipped.

I'm trying to figure this out because an offline workflow for HD footage would be great but it's totally useless if it's going to do this.
 
yes, that is the first thing I checked. The only thing I can think of is that for some reason the timecode shifted when I transcoded the files? That seems very strange though.
