Does anyone know why my Quicktime clips that I sent to a client in an external hard drive won't play for him? It just comes up a blank white screen. The audio is fine.
Here's the details:
-the media is from my HVX (720 24p) and imported with my new FCP 6.0.1
-I copied all the media onto a smartdisk USB 2.0 and sent that to client
-I've never had this problem before
-my Quicktime Player 7.2 plays them just fine
-he has Quicktime Player 7.2 and can't see the video image
-he is using a non-intel powerbook laptop (same as another machine of mine and I can see them fine)
-these are the uncompressed files that log and capture converted
-beyond confused
Since we both have non Intel powerbooks both with Quicktime Pro player 7.2, the only difference I can see is that I have Final Cut and he doesn't. But that doesn't make sense. It's got to be a QT player issue..
Thanks for any help, the Apple care guy (2 of them) didn't know how to answer this question.
