Clip Settings/ Moving Clips Between Sequences

Hi - I have edited a bunch of footage in one sequence. I would like to drag certain clips from that sequence, into a new sequence. For some reason, the clip size is changing and a matte is appearing. I have set the clip sequences properly, but the new sequence clips still don't match the original sequence clips. Any ideas???
 
What do you mean? there's a letterboxing going on in the new sequence or something?

Control click your sequence's in the browser and go to "item properties" just to make sure they match.
