Clip-On Focus-Puller for Gimbals ?

Neat. But my only concern is that some ultrasonic rangefinders fall within the very audible sonic range and could be picked up on mics. This is especially difficult in the harmonics of the main frequency that could be generated by the mic diaphragm moving.

Otherwise I like the concept and what it might be able to do now and in the future.
 
They use the example on a Sony mirroless. This is a camera that has face detection, phase detection and lock-on object autofocus... I can understand on a camera lacking such amazing tech...

It looks like you have full wireless manual control via the thumb wheel on the remote, so I can see there would be times where you would want to manually control the focus.
