I'd love to get your feedback on this short clip I shot last week.
It was the first time I made a serious attempt at using the manual zoom (except for the opening shot which was on servo). It was all on the fly and 2nd takes weren't an option, so I was doing my best to pan and tilt on a high hat as best as I could, as well as create some sort of narrative. Shot from about 200 yards away, 80ft in the air, nestled in a small rock wall perch. Had the camera tethered to my wrist for safety, which as you'll see, saved my arse, figuratively. (In all actuality it was the high hat that saved the day).
Let me know what you think about the framing, and shooting subjects that are so far away. Always open to constructive criticism.
Also, what are the ideal settings for a clip when posting online? Frame size, etc?
