Client Deliverable Issues

I'm using Premiere Pro 2014 (the newest update) on a PC. My client is using Premiere Pro 8.0 on a Mac (they arent the most technical savy.)

I exported raw footage to a high Bitrate (35mbps) MP4 (h.264). I first uploaded it to my FTP as I usually do but they said they were having issues so I uploaded it to their dropbox.

Now when they play the footage back in premiere they are seeing some weird pixelation and occassionaly a frame that is half black and white. What would cause an issue like this? When I import the file in my premiere it looks fine.

I also gave them a 4 track WAV file and they are saying that they are hearing cracking noises from it. When I play it back it sounds fine.

Could it be something with premiere? Could it be dropbox? or could it be that their system is too slow for the footage and its causing some wierd artifacts.

Thank you!

2 seperate file transfer methods corrupting the file isn't likely.. Ask them to get adobe CC trial? Crackling could be their speakers?

I partially figured out the issue and it's a doozy.

It's actually something wrong on my end. I edit off of an external Raid 10 connected through USB 3.0. I actually noticed that if I have a video file on a local hard drive and play that file using VLC it plays fine. If I move that file onto my RAID and play the file it plays fine. It's only when I import the file into a premiere pro project and then I go back out to the imported file and play it using VLC do I get a green and pixelated image. I replicated this issue multiple times and each time it corrupts the original file when I import it into premiere.

I switched my RAID 10 to be connected through eSata instead of USB 3.0 and it doesn't do it anymore. In fact the corrupted file plays back normally now. It looks like USB 3.0 was causing the files to not read properly and when I uploaded it for the client it uploaded it wrong because it wasn't reading correctly. I don't know why I started having this issue all of a sudden and I don't know why importing it into premiere should corrupt the original file from being read properly but it does. I'd love to hear if anybody has any idea of why. But honestly I'm just happy that its working properly now.
