Clicking Noise in MP3 files in FCP 6.0

Hey guys,
I cannot get a better version than MP3 in time for a premiere on Friday. Is there any way to get the clicking noise out of the track or is that just the disadvantage of dealing with such a low quality file?

You need to convert the MP3 to a WAV or AIFF file rather than dropping the MP3 directly into FCP. Depending on your other audio + timeline settings, you might also need to convert it from 44.1khz to 48khz. Easy to do in Compressor or loads of other apps (Quicktime 7, iTunes, etc).
 
If you don't have any other way to do it you can bring it into a scratch FCP project and then EXPORT the clip to an AIFF file.

using "advanced" i was able to convert it to aiff in itunes... so that helped the clipping issue... perhaps i need to get it to 48hz now cause any filters i put on it requires a render... is this normal?
