Click

okay i just got back from seeing this. GREAT movie. i laughed my ass off. hilarious. Adam Sandler really did a good job with this film. I'd have to think about it but i'm almost sure its my favorite Sandler movie. Kate Beckinsale... wow! what else can you say... SMOKIN'. Chris Walken, great. His character was probably my favorite and after you see the movie i think you'll see why. near the end the movie starts getting really serious. there's still comedy, but it gets serious. near the very end i was almost brought to tears from Sandler's character. he's so serious and pulls it off. the music of that scene was very powerful too, which really hammered it home for me. i think if you see the film you'd agree too. a lot of people think Sandler can't do serious roles but if you see the last half hour of the film i think you'd change your mind.

overall a very good film definitely worth checking out. the movie really has a point and hopefully you'll walk away from the film with something. go check it out!

..would you say its more in line with "punch drunk love " and "spanglish" with the sandler side of things? i apprecisted those films and if it follows in thier vein somewhat id check this one out as well.

well its a clever mix of those and billy madison and happy gilmore with the humor side of it. most of it is a comedy except the last half hour 45 minutes. the humor is very much in line with classic sandler stuff

Punch Drunk Love was amazing, i've heard nothing but bad things about click. I'll probably wait for the dvd.

I will not see this in the theater for one simple reason. This movie annoyed the sh|t out of me like no other movie has. In every movie I've been to in the past few months there has been the same behind the scenes (which repeated twice) for Click and then they play the actual trailers which showed almost exactly the same footage. I also could not avoid the commercials for it on tv and the posters on the busses and subways. It is everywhere. And it doesn't look good to me at all. I won't pass judgement over the movie based on this, but there is no reason for me to see it. Same thing is true of Tokyo Drift. (If you ain't out of control, you ain't in control!:kali:)

I hate "The 20" with a passion. If you do not know what "The 20" is count yourself lucky. It is a promotional reel that inundates you with extended ads for tv shows, movies, cars, cell phones, etc. before the previews start while you are stuck there holding your seat. And at the end they recap it for you so you don't forget. Sorry to rant about this, but I had to vent or the next time I see an ad for Click I might just go ballistic. I loved the days when there were static ads that could be ignored. The best was the music with the lava lamp on the screen.

I don't hold it against Adam Sandler, but they will not be getting my $10.50. I will boycot any movie that has such a blatant and aggravating ad campaign. I suggest others do the same.

Power to the People

End Transmission.

I'm going to guess that in the end he learns a valuable life-lesson about how controling everything in life with a magical remote control will not bring you true joy. You have to find that yourself, with those you love.

barf.

saw click today again .. 2nd time to see it and still laughed at it but wasn't as funny because didn't have the big crowd to get more laughs.

I can't stand Sandler. I hated him on SNL, and I pretty much hate everything he's ever done.

BUT, PTA's PDL was fantastic, as was Sandler's performance. I'll give him that, and ONLY that.

PS: Tim Herlihy is the very embodiment of everything that is wrong with cinema today.

That is all.

I never have liked any of his other films either just because the way he acts in all of them but this one looked good and it turned out to be very good which i've seen twice and i'd go again because this one is worth watching.

I saw it and I really liked the way Sandler palyed out the various stages of his life, the aging, the physical change a body undergoes, the mental transitions. He played it out very well. Not Oscar material, but you know... I was surprised how much I liked this movie.

I usually go into movie theaters with low expectations. That way I get exactly what I expected or I am pleasantly surprised. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

I haven't seen this movie, only the previews but the only movie I have ever liked with Adam Sandler is Spanglish. I think it all started with Going Overboard but when I saw it, it was called The Unsinkable Shecky Moskowitz. It was an unwatchable movie and forever left an impression of Adam Sandler on me. I'm probably the only one but I don't even think he was funny on SNL. My daughter and I disagree mightily on Adam Sandler...:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

I saw it. Overall, it was a good movie, and the character learns a good lesson. But, slap on Sandler, and you've got a trashy comedy. Traditional fart joke, dog-humping-stuffed-toy joke, all junk. If it wasnt by Sandler, I would have appreciated it more.
