Clevo P150HM or Macbook Pro?

Wanting to upgrade my laptop for editing and have narrowed it down to the clevo/sager P150HM/8150 with the GTX485M card or the new quad core 15" macbook pro. Looks was once a main factor but now i'm just after a workhorse. I work with panasonic AVCHD files and would ideally like to be able to work with them native seamlessly in CS4. which of the two do you guys think will be better bang for buck?

Better bang for the buck is by far the Clevo/Sager/Malibal/AVA Direct p150. Although I'd look at the P151 because of the matte screen.

Compared to the MBP you get an Nvidia card with more ram, USB 3, 1920z1080 display, max 16gb ram, dual hd slots. Also mercury playback.

MBP gets you thunderbolt and better battery life. No mercury (ATI card)

I've been going through the same thing for a while.
