The bad news is I am not the clever one. The good news is I can still benifit from said cleverness. I was shooting with a friend of mine and noticed a white strip on top of the eyepiece. He made a smale scale focus chart (the one with the actual distances), lamenated it, and with velcro attatched it to the top of the eyepiece. He gave me one of his spares. Just though some of you may like the idea.
