Hey guys,
Big discovery for me...
I got my text to become clear from MOTION to FCP!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm no amateur, I tried it all (insert all Creative Cow, DVX User, etc advice here).
And none of it worked, and I became super bummed/annoyed.
But it finally worked when I simply did this:
In Motion:
-Under "Edit", "project properties", I changed my "width" and "height" settings to custom and added two more pixels to each dimension. (so I had 1922x1082)
-I draged the Motion file into FCP, and presto, it was no longer pixilated.
I know this sounds like a hack, but trust me, I tried all the technically correct methods like making sure my fields were the same, and exporting an Animation Quicktime movie from Motion, and triple checking all settings to make Motion and FCP identical, and making sure my FCP canvas was 100%, changing sequence settings to no compression...
BUT THIS WORKED AND NOW I HAVE CLEAN TEXT TO HAND MY CLIENT (thanks Lord)
Just wanted to share it in case any others are banging their heads against the wall like I was.
