Does anyone know of any reflector flood and spot incandescent bulbs with clear glass, instead of a frosted coating, in the 250, 300 or 500 watt out put (110 volts, 60 cycle AC) that are still available? I am looking for bulbs in the R-30 and R-40 shape.
I bought a lot of sylvania BEP photoflood 300 watt lights, for stupid cheap off of eBay and I really like them. However, I am not pleased with the disadvantage of photofloods (Short life, possible color temp changes). I have over 30 of them and will use them because I got them so very cheap, but I can't find any replacements for them on line.
What really impresses me about these little lights is the very high light output and photometrics, but would like to find some comparable reflector bulbs, with higher life spans, but everything I have found (250 and 500 watt) have a frosted lens. Anyone know of any with clear lenses?
