cleaning the flip out lcd?

how do you guys clean the lcd on your cam mine has h2o stains from sweat, fingerprints and scratchs. can i use the same spray lense cleaner i use for my lens?

i just use a microfiber cloth

I use a screen protector over it. It cost only a few dollars. And when water or dirt touches it. i clean it off with anything , even normal tissue paper.
