Cleaning outside of camera.

What is the best way to clean the external parts of the camera (dvx100, dvc80). Body, Hood, etc. Thanks.
 
are just dusting it or is it covered in mud? I just dust mine off with a swifter if gets dusty which is rare. Carefully used canned air can get stuff out of the crevices. Anything that isnt dust I would start looking at a very slightly damp cloth or qtip for the little spots. The caution on the canned air is to let that first blast of cold wet stuff (propellant?) out when its not pointed at the camera. Then hold it far away and dont feel like you have to squeeze the trigger that hard. Best used in short quick blasts. Happy cleaning!
