Cleaning a follow focus ring

So I was ACing on a shoot last week and one of the other ACs was using a red dry erase marker for focus marks, and they didn't seem to be cleaning off very well. I'm afraid the ring might be stained red now. Is there anyway to clean it? Could I use bleach maybe?
 
Rubbing Alcohol. It'll get dry erase marks right off. In the future, have your AC use a grease pencil, it'll just wipe off with no staining, and it stays on easier than dry erase.
 
Dry erase board cleaner works just fine to clean off dry erase markers. I use pen style dry erase marker if no grease pencil handy with no problems. Black or blue preferrably over red.
 
I had that exact problem a few weeks ago, and I had tried all the alcohol wipes and usual cleaners that I've always used, but i really thought the rings were stained for good. Someone gave me 'Solvent Sec' Dry Solvent by Orapi. It worked like magic. I'm not sure where he got it, but I presume any hardware store might be able to help you.
