Well, I knew I was pushing a little too hard when my lappy's drive was runing at 55+ degrees celsius. Everything locked up last night, BSOD, and now "No drive detected". I've removed the drive and plugged into another comp, and while holding it, I can't even feel any kind of spin or powerup vibration.
I know it's a longshot, but anyone here have access to clean room or pro data recovery services?
The worst pain isn't the movies and programs lost, but the film directing journals and docs!!! Gosh, and I had just installed backup software yesterday, prepping for an external drive offload today. Karma just round-housed my face.
