OK Guys.
We tried to lighten up on political discussion as we (mods) feel people should be informed, active, and proactive at this time in our country's history.
Big mistake.
Did not work.
Yes it was a mixed message.
If you feel like your toes were stepped on in some personal way because your post was deleted or your thread was locked, it was not personal. It's just a bunch of guys with the keys to the place doing what we thought was best when Hudson put up his sticky for the Vote PSA (which could arguably be partisan) and now we're going back to zero tolerance Politics for members and Mods, because it seems best for the community and it's certainly the fairest thing.
You spoke up about feeling like there was a double message or standard - we listened.
Like the politicians say "We were for it before we were against it."
We all know issues are important in the country right now. But this place is for filmmaking and technical info and the cafe is for everything else but Porn Politics Proselytizing and Personal attacks.
So go back to getting in fights over the EX 1 or something.
If you want to talk Politics here's a member run forum where they'd be more than happy to chew the partisan or non-partisan fat with you:

Move along, there's nothing to see here.
