Clamp-on matte box

I have a Vocas 2 stage, rotatable, clamp-on matte box which I poreviously used on my Canon XL cameras. Is there a way to mount this on the DVX?

I think... YES. The XL1 -XL2 and the DVX have 72 mm. filter anr your matte must be attached in the DVX.

Thanks. Yeah I realize they're both 72mm but the XL clamps onto the outside end of the lens where as the DVX has the focus ring on the end of the zoom. Where does a matte box clamp on? Is there a threaded 72mm ring or extender that DVX users clamp onto?
