CL7 or 70HDHP?

Hello,

First of all sorry about my por English.

Please, help me to choose an external monitor for my HV30 Canon camcorder.

My candidates are:

- Lilliput HD70HP 7”
- Lilliput CL7 7”

I think that the only differences between both are:

- HD70HP has Component Input and the CL7 not
- CL7 has Composite Input and the HD70HP not

If I order the CL7 I will win 50$ because there is a free shipping promotion.

I was thinking in using the HDMI connection, but now I have doubts about components connection.

Which connection is better: HDMI or Components?
In my case, which one would you decide?

Thanks in advance,
SiriNeos

If you want to save on shipping, go ahead and get the CL7. As long as you use HDMI, your image will look great.

CL7: has HDMI in (high def) and composite in (standard def)
70HP: has HDMI in (high def) and component in (high def)

I bought the 70HP earlier in the year and it's been a great monitor, since I have 2 options for plugging into and getting an HD signal.

However if you get the 70HP and wanted to use your component connection, you'd need to buy PIN-BNC Conversion Plugs.

From a saving money aspect, I'd get the CL7.
If you need to have 2 high def imput options, I'd get the 70HP. But you'd have to spend more for shipping and additional parts to take advantage of the component input for your camera.

Thanks, I will follow your advice ordering CL7.
