CK 93 or CK 63 ULS

Well, as the title suggests, I'm in the market for a hyper capsule and I have both AKG systems.

In some controlled tests I realize that my CK 61 ULS is superior to my CK 91, and I say "controlled tests" because in the field (I'm a documentary filmmaker), I don't notice much of a difference between the 2 systems but...

...As the price for both caps are marginally the same, I'm here to listen to anyone who really has experience with both.

Thanks in advance

A few weeks ago I used the CK93 in a fairly live space (hard walls, hard floor and ceiling) and I found the CK93 to be more directional than Senn 416 which I had been using for both indoor and outdoor work. I found the mic to sound a bit muffled in the high frequencies with a fuzzy on it, but without the fuzzy, seemed very open yet at the same time providing good rejection for off axis sounds.

From what I've heard, and I've studied it a lot, is that the CK93 is the best cap that goes on that AKG setup. It's just a nice hyper. The reason I didn't go with t was because all the other caps aren't so great, so the value of interchangeable caps is lost since they shotgun cap is weak and I have others that are much better. I went with the AT4053b, but if you already have the AKG system, then by all means the CK93 cap should be a no brainer.

I'm selling a c460b with the ck63 hyper for $300. Its on consignment at Gotham Sound in NYC http://gothamsound.com/used.php?Microphones

I ended up buying a matched pair of gefells soon after i got the AKG and its just been collecting dust.

Thanks but I already have a c480b with the ck61. I'm only deciding between buying the ck93 cap for my se300b module or the ck63 for my 480.

PM me if you plan to sell only the ck63. Thanks
