Circular IR and ND filters

Hi guys,

What filters are you using that effectively cut IR pollution and which NDs do you recommend with IR filtration? I'm getting a ursa mini4.6k and bmd cameras are very sensitive to ir pollution. Firecrests? Hoya?

Take a look at www.bmcuser.com, they talk about IR filters a lot over there. I'm assuming you're asking about 4x4 filters? People generally choose IR cut over hot mirror filters.

I always ask there, but I'm trying to gather as much of people's experience as I can, because everyone seem to favor a specific filter and in my country it's hard to try them... I'm talking about circular filters

My camera system doesn't require IR filtration, so I don't really know what the best options are. Many people like the Hoya IR cut filters. Take a look at SLR Magic's new IR cut filter.
