Cinevate Titan Matte Box? Worth the buy?

Hi guys, I'm in the market for a matte box and am having a hard time finding up-to-date reviews/info on the Cinevate Titan Matte Box. Has anyone here had some experience with it and can offer their thoughts? I have a Gini rig with the Gini iFocus and is rather large. I'm afraid the cage form of the MB may interfere with the FF.

Is it sturdy? Any problems?

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Victor from Cinevate said I could post his response!

"The Titan Matte Box is a really great, affordable solution that is great for HDSLR users. If you're in the market for something that will just work this is it. Outside of being your typical swing away Mattebox It's a little different than most solutions because it's framed in some 15mm rods. i dont mind it too much because it allows me to adjust the height of the mattebox itself and also mount stuff to it if i need to. It does have some limitations though... First, the filters are 4x4. Second, the filters do not independently rotate. If those things don't matter to you, Then it's a great buy!"

Regards,

Victor

I don't mean to hurt Cinevate, a lot of their stuff is pretty good. I'm personally waiting for their mitchell base Dromos hi-hat.

But their mattebox just looks pretty funky to me, I've only seen it once in person and its.. Alright, but for the price I'd rather get a Redrock mainly because Its a pretty tough one and accepts bigger filters and donuts. But the Redrock is pretty big and kinda clunky, so if you do more fast pace run and gun shooting, the titan may be for you
