Cinevate Pegasus in Action!

Hey guys,

We had the pleasure of finally holding our first ever in house video workshops for the past few weeks, and Dennis was kind enough to help us out with some gear for us and all the workshop attendees to play with.

In terms of Cinevate's 'new gear', in the videos you can see the
- proteus cage on the 5dmkII. Without the weight of the cage we would not have been able to mount the 5d to a Steadicam.

- pegasus 'heavy lifter'. the faster slider shots were achieved via this unit. imo, this unit is VERY sturdy and alllows you to do perform loooooonnnnnnggggg slide shots while also performing focus pulls and tripod turns with no shake (ie. shoe detail shot in 2nd video)

- pegasus 100cm carbon system. pretty much all the slow & controlled ground shots from both videos were achieved using this rig. now this thing as a quick and easy run and gun table/floor dolly was a HUGE hit amongst everyone. I was supposed to let those in my group play with it more but i found myself spending wayyyyyyyy too much time with it :). You can also easily adjust the tilt on it too, very kewl.

Here are the behind the scenes recaps:

Oh and I had to give Dennis 2 quick cameos in the second workshop recap, thanks for flying down and answering everyones questions Dennis!

Enjoy fellow story-tellers!

Thanks Michael...next time I'll stay for the whole thing instead of zipping in and out for a day. We've had a pile of great feedback from the workshop participants so it would seem you guys know how to throw a shooting party :-)

Cheers,
Dennis.
