Cinevate "Blows the Doors" off Adapter Pricing

So finally the announcement at least a few of you were waiting for after we dropped a few hints last week. We've done what no other adapter manufacturer has done before and lowered prices across the board our flagship product, the Brevis MP.2 lens adapter. We've also introduced a new small-camera package for 37mm HD cams like the Canon HG21. This kit includes our fully featured MP.2 microprocessor controlled adapter, identical to our higher priced packages. You'll notice too that we've made the move to US pricing to simplify pricing on our site. So here's the basic scoop:

1. Small camera rig which includes a mod'd version of our solid carbon fibre Proteus Rails system (patent pending), Brevis to Rails mount and unified 37-72 step up ring: $1099
You can find this rig here in our "Small Camera Shoot Guide". This piece shows the little HG21 on a jib with remote focus and a 17-37mm Nikon lens.

2. The MP.2 Flip is now at $1310 and non-flip at $850.

How did we do this? Two words: Volume Production. The nice side of this is like most of our products (the Durus FF and Titan Mattebox are current exceptions) is that we ship all of these products next day. Typical transit times worldwide from time of order to delivery are 2-4 business days, worldwide to your doorstep. As always we have real people here every day (Monday to Friday, 9-5 EST) to answer your questions and deal efficiently with any problems.

Happy Belated Father's Day to all the Dad's out there :-)

Cheers,
Dennis Wood

Well thats exciting and much "economy appreciated "news for DADS and Filmmakers everywhere.
I am also really digging on your new follow focus, it's a sexy beast!
Great Work
Cheers

Dammit, why do you people always insist on making life's decisions so difficult? Now I have to take a serious look at the Brevis as well. :) This is very good news to hear, and I am now definitely looking hard at the Brevis as well.

Oh, and Dennis, the MP.2 link is bad.

Thanks Philip :-) Getting the Durus FF project off the ground is a topic worthy of a book unto itself, followed closely by the saga of our 2/3" multi-format relay. At the end of the day though, it all boils down to making cool gear for folks doing amazing things with it.

Congratulations Dennis - your new products look terrific. The adjusted pricing will be very well received I'm sure!

btw - what's the monitor in that first picture? That looks suspiciously similar to a Cinevate logo (top left of the monitor).

Well guess who's getting a little package in the mail? :D

Dennis, you're a life saver. Next on my list: That suspicious looking monitor.....

That suspicious looking monitor is a true 720x1280 pixel display. That prototype is great but when you see what we've got coming...it will change how you look at an HD display for good. I'll start dropping hints shortly but you can start with HDMI, HDSDI, Component, Composite, and S-Video...both inputs and outputs. As far as the rest..my lips are sealed but we are fully expecting planetary eyebrows to be raised once folks see what we've come up with.

Btw, on the pricing thing rest assured that our business manager is now completely convinced I'm crazy :-) That said, it's great to hear your words of support guys.

Next on our list is Cinevate's hyper-secret "STEW 2.0" campaign. We've hired a cook and waiter, sort of.

I still don't own a monitor. For a simple reason I believe the upcoming monitor would be worth the wait. Manhattan LCD almost convinced me into purchasing one though. It's so tempting. Just hope the cinevate monitor will be launch soon.

Great adjusted price. With the reduce pricing. Well I guess this will really give one some thought about avoiding the 5DMark2 for filming and making the Brevis a sound affordable purchase for better imagery option on true video cameras. Guess we filmmakers appreciate this step that Dennis had taken espically at such bad economy all around the world.

Wondering how a cook and waiter will be involved in filmmaking tools?

A happy production staff (and a full one at that) makes a smooth operating company :D

Like i've said before Dennis, great work. My package should be arriving shortly!!

STEW 2.0 just got renamed STEW.0 by our man Chris.

The cook and waiter titles aren't to be taken literally but rather consider them job titles.

I'll admit to poking some fun at the WEB 2.0 term that I think just took the Oxford or Webster dictionary (can't recall which) over 1 000 000 words . If you look at our "Show The World" ads in EventDV etc, you'll likely figure out what STEW.0 means. In any case, on top of the new products coming we're preparing to "Show the World" a few other things too.

S595, thanks for your kind words and support :-)
